| Well.. I have been engaged for about 2 months! And now... I am only 2
weeks away from being a COLLEGE GRADUATE!!!! CRAZY! I am so excited for
the next two weeks and for my parents and Keith to be here!
I am an AUNT now... my sister had a beautiful baby boy on Friday, April
27th! He's adorable and has the funniest little squak-y cry. Shane
Michael Pratt.
Keith & I's wedding is set for March 9, 2008!!
It's during most people's spring break so that'll be so fun to have
college buddies come! We're excited to start planning and dreaming this
summer.
I graduate May 19th. Keith will be here with my whole family then we'll
drive out to NJ on the 22nd... I'll be a NJ resident as of May 23,
2008! Who woulda thought?!! This summer I'll be working as Marketing
Manager for a coffee lounge that Keith's bro-in-law runs... so excited
to do it! I'm going to Japan!!! June 27- July 10 I'll be in Japan with
JACKIE- a friend from HS in Germany. :) Then when I return I'll
continue the coffee lounge job as well as beginning a search for a
full-time job to start in August!
I'll miss MN for sure and definately my sister, bro-in-law and new baby
Shane! But I am so thankful and super excited to be going back
out east and finally be near Keith! **We're a little tired of the
distance thing and missing out on each other's lives... but God's been
so so so good to us during this time apart and orchastrating EVERYTHING
PERFECTLY!**
I'm excited that next school year I'll be able to see my ole' friends
at King's more often and have ya'll out to my place or "our" place
after March! hehe... fun fun!
I am finished with my Activities Director position and had our Spring
Banquet last night, was a BLAST and pretty much the "best party this
school has seen in years" (at least that's the buzz aroudn campus) I'm
so thankful for how God used me in this position and to create new
traditions and have so much student participation this year.. I loved
every minute of it!
Oh boy... well here's to my last week of classes!!!

I am going to be Mrs. Klingen! :) hehe
OH BOY!
AND my ring is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited about God's plan for us... forever started on that Tuesday!

Think of how amazing it would be to see so many lives blessed if you ALL do this, just once!

| Thanksgiving was a wonderful time and a great break from hectic-ness at
Northwestern. It was so great to have Keith out here and for my whole
family to spend some time together! He left yesterday and life is supposed to get back to "normal" for the next 3 weeks.
I finally have succumbed to being sick... I've gone all semester-
through some of the most stressful weeks of my life and two of the
longest nights of my life and still never got sick... then I take a
break from all that and what happens- my immune system decides to take
a break too! But some good meds and lots of OJ is helping! I'm thankful
it's not a stuffy nose though- those are the WORST!
Christmas is coming... it's that time of year again! I love Christmas
music, traditional decorations, snow, hot chocolate, all the smells,
yummy goodies, and celebrating! We haven't gotten our first real
snowfall yet this year, it's snowed but just flurries that didn't
stick. I am hoping it comes tomorrow as the temperature only needs to
drop a lil for it to be snow instead of rain!
Hmm... I got my LAST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE all figured out and I'm ready
to register for classes on Thursday! I'm excited! It's a lot of work
but I'm determined to do it and graduate with a decent GPA! I'll be
taking: Mass Media & Society, PR Cases & Campaigns,
Communication Research Methods, Relationships, Hebrews and then I'll
have 3 workshops which are like really short internships at the
school... I do two now- for the school paper and for the pr office on
campus, then I'll add one more next sem. So it looks like a nice
schedule but very full! :)
We got to see Lindsey & Damon over Thanksgiving! Who knew that we'd
ever all get together in a tiny town in SW Minnesota! hehe.. its' was
GREAT to see them and we all four miss hangin out immensely! We had a
lot of fun bowling, chatting, catchin up and laughing! Good memories-
as always!
I'll be out in NYC for New Years this year and I'm really excited! I
found out that I am having a massive amount of dr. appts over Christmas
break... ugh! I have to get some of my final medical appts in because I
lose my ID card and all that when I graduate- the Air Force will no
longer be taking care of my every need! haha. I'm having my wisdom
teeth taken out, blood drawn, x-rays taken, ETC. I tried to fight my
mom on the whole blood/needle thing but she won.
I think God is beginning to pull at me to teach me about contentment
and focusing on here and now. I know that I don't worry about stuff
that much but I often feel the desire to be out east SO BAD that I
becom discontent with being here where I am. I love here and I enjoy my
classes, school, friends, etc completely. I need to relish in that and
know that God's got big things left here for me to complete before I
leave in His time. I think it's something I hadn't really thought of
labeling as "discontent" until this past week. Now I see how it has
become exactly that and I need to change my attitude. Instead of "I
can't wait for May" I need to be saying, "What's in today that I can
take with me?" I think, definatley in your Senior year of college, the
questions and pressures that arrise cause for future-thought to consume
your mind sometimes. I'm fighting against that now!

| Oh xanga. Such a funny thing.
I've enjoyed catching up with people's stories on xanga in the past
couple of days. I never get on here much because I, 1. Don't have time,
2. Half the people on here I don't know anymore, and 3. Yea, the whole
time thing!
So I decided for those few people that may read this when I update it I
will write a lil something something. I think one of those people might
be mad at me for I was in NYC 2 weeks ago but only 1 person knew. My
parents bought me a surprise ticket to fly out to see Keith. It was a
great time and I enjoyed being out there- I'm not sure anyone can
understand just how much I miss EVERYTHING about being out there! I was
in NJ for 6 days in went into the city for one night.
Well, just as everyone seems to be saying, "I am busy..." This is true
in my life but life has slowed down a lot since the middle of October
(after Homecoming) I'm Activities Director this year so I keep busy
planning social events for the student body. It's fun but time
consuming sometimes. I've had a lot of time lately to go on coffee
dates and dinner/lunch dates with friends. I love it! That's how I
catch up with people!
Thanksgiving is 3 weeks away! I'm super excited. I get to see and
spend time with some people that I miss! Keith is flying out and I
can't wait to see him and have him out here again. My family, my mom
and dad are coming up and they are bringing my doggie!! My extended
family (down in southern MN is where we're spending the holiday... with
my Dad's side of the family! I'm excited to take Keith to a farm! hehe)
And also, Lindsey and Damon are going to be down in the same lil
farm-town! So all-in-all I can't wait for Thanksgiving. It seems far
away, even though it's only 20-some days. So much is going on before
then and the days have seemed to go so slowly this year. I feel like
yesterday I was awake for lik 70 hours!
Something else I'm excited for is... MAY! I am ready to graduate!
I'm ready to move, I'm ready to... well not really cuz I'm not
graduating right now so I'm obviously not ready but I'm excited for it
to come. And as off Dec. 22, I will officially be a SENIOR! :) (by
credits)
It's getting cold here in MN... it snowed a lil last night but
then dropped and was too cold for snow! :) I love the cold weather but
I wish I could curl up with some hot chocolate and spend the cold days
with someone special. soon.
God is always holding me and I thank Him for this year and all
that has and is going to happen. He is a great comforter and provider!
I'm praying for all of ya'll in NYC as I am missing you dearly and hold
you close to my heart! Find time to talk with Him today!
